Glenary looks sure to go close as does Kayf Aramis and Mini Minster was impressive last time but BOBBY GEE may be able to do us a favour here. Glenary is stoutly bred and may possibly improve for his first attempt at three miles. However, his recent improvement seems to have coincided with testing ground and he could be worth siding against if conditions start to dry out a little but they are in his favour at present. They should also be hunky dory for Kayf Aramis who has been handed a 5lb rise for finishing a distant second to a Nicholls horse at Taunton. There's more to come from him over hurdles but the handicapper isn't making his life any easier. Mini Minster is another to suffer at the hands of the assessor but an 11lb rise is probably reasonable given the ease with which she won at Hexham. The concern is that her only other success also came on heavy ground at Hexham and it remains to be seen whether she can reproduce that level of form away from that venue. Bobby Gee was beaten over fifty lengths on his reappearance but that came in a really hot race at Cheltenham. His novice form of last season stacks up quite well and he looks well worth a try at this longer trip. He does have a little to prove but will be priced accordingly and that makes Bobby Gee worthy of an interest.
