    Verdict

Jewel Maker was only beaten a length off this mark when last on Turf and stable companion Perfect Swiss is back on a winning mark. Clear Angel has been going well at Newcastle but still has a lot to prove on this surface. Mutaraafeq can’t get much lower in the weights and neither can Frankelio but the latter looks held by GAINSBOURG on the form book and, with the rain having come just in time, Ed Bethell’s top weight has as good a chance as any in this though could have been better drawn. This trip may be too short for Precisely and Jomont.
