    Verdict

    FISHER still looks to be heading in the right direction and won a shade cosily at Ayr last month. He probably has more scope than Lightening Rod. The latter has won three times over course and distance and Harry Bannister's claim will aid his cause again but his latest win hasn't been franked and he's never won off a mark this high. A slightly longer trip might have suited Ubaltique, who raced over fences on his reappearance, but Raven's Tower and Kumbeshwar have the past form to figure and would be interesting if attracting market support.
