Gillian Boanas has booked Brian Hughes for the returning Baby Jane so she is worth a market check. September Daisy and Joanna I‘m Fine were made joint favourites for a mares’ handicap at Ayr in February. The former ran no sort of race but the latter won and is only 5lb higher here. Grand Du Nord has promised more than he’s delivered so far but Just Jess is better than she showed at Hexham last month. BRAGANZA BAY is hard to catch right but is suited by a test of stamina and should get that here. Henry Daly’s Hereford and Huntingdon winner gets the nod over Fiadh, who can confirm recent course and distance running with Rumble B.
