In depth

Verdict

KARISMA KING lost his maiden tag on heavy going at Bangor and was good value for his narrow victory. He's up 6lb here but could go even better on the quicker going and can complete a quick double. Angus Glens hasn't done as well as expected after landing a Southwell maiden hurdle a year ago and though Divine Port completed a double at the end of last year he's been well beaten in all three subsequent starts. Winning bumper Kara Tara is looking on a mark she can win from so a big run is expected while Minella Hero is back on a mark just 1lb higher than his last victory after being raised a massive 17lb for completing a double around this time a year ago.
