Not a lot to go on but the TEAMtalk selection is given to Jaboune. Alan King's charge is officially rated 127, so on paper, it will take a decent horse to beat him. He does have a recent blot on the formbook to overcome but as his first win didn't come until the summer, he has plenty to recommend him in Novice company. Detonateur was highly tried last season at Cheltenham but he looks a much more realistic betting proposition on a softer surface. Mick Easterby looks to have a strong hand with Sporting Gesture, a useful if not frustrating horse on the level, and recent Market Rasen bumper winner, Frankie Anson. Both are sure to go well. Of the remainder, Militaire looks an interesting recruit from France to the Micky Hammond yard.
