Verdict

The Girl That Sang is returning from a lay-off but hails from a yard enjoying a terrific campaign and can’t be ignored. Pottlerath is fairly consistent but is now 0-23 and Miss Harriett is 0-20 and had an entry yesterday at Taunton. Stepping up to 2m4f at Newcastle, the lightly-raced BENITO produced his best effort to date and this is a very weak opener. Bella Beau, third at Uttoxeter at the start of the month after a long absence, looks best of the rest.
