Verdict

Champion Chase handles heavy going but has had plenty of chances and was a long way behind CLONDAW STORM last time at Lingfield. The latter is also a maiden but seems to have found his level and has only been raised a pound. Khairagash has only found one too good the last twice and shouldn’t be far away again while Templier will strip fitter for a run over hurdles. Light Flicker won a novices’ handicap at Wetherby earlier this month and is another to consider.
