Russian Affair, Tenavon and En Hiver have all shown enough to suggest they are capable of landing an ordinary maiden although none have contested good-quality affairs yet. The latter is arguably the most interesting, having been backed into favouritism on debut this month and could well prove to be better than showing that day. However, both WADHA and Triple Charm look interesting newcomers for Godolphin and Jeremy Noseda respectively and the market should guide as to stable expectations. We'll go with the former at this stage. Clive Brittain had a welcome winner at Newmarket recently and Ziraun is not ruled out for the HQ handler after a promising spring debut.
