A Listed bumper to close the card and despite running green when winning on his debut, Millenaire looked pretty classy at Haydock and can follow up. The main dangers in an interesting race looks to be Itsa Legend, Moorlands Return, Roznic, Celtic Son and Lord Gale. The well-bred Its Legend did well to win when looking in need of the run at Kempton on February 2, finishing a ahead in front of Lord Gale, who is now four pounds better off. Roznic was flying at the finish on his Kempton debut, when just over a length behind Moorlands Return and, on four pounds better terms, could well gain his revenge. Lord Gale's form is solid in bumpers and he deserves to land a contest of this nature. The Martin Pipe-trained Celtic Son won in bumper in Ireland before showing promise at Newbury on his first run in this country. Finely Tuned was disappointing last time after a promising debut and Ballyalbany will be interesting once he goes hurdling and chasing. After a promising debut win over course and distance, The Muratti flopped at Fontwell under his penalty, a fate that regularly befalls bumper winners. Of the others, The Sawyer is out of a four-time Flat winner, Midnight Gold is out of a three-time Flat scorer and Reel Missile's mother won over fences, so watch the betting for clues. Stoneyford Ben showed promise here in a slowly-run affair last time but, overall, others are preferred. For the selection we return to Millenaire.
