This bumper can go the way of LION ON THE PROWL who is nominated to get the better of Bobbie Magern and Pensnett Bay. Kim Bailey's 6-year-old caught the eye on his debut at Taunton when he chased home Owen Glendower. He is well-related and he won't need to find much improvement to get his head in front today. Bobbie Magern is another who catches the eye on breeding and Nigel Twiston-Davies's record in bumpers means he has to be on any shortlist. If the market were to speak in his favour then it could pay to take the hint. Pensnett Bay should have no problems with the ground as he proved he handles plenty of give underfoot on his debut when he chased home Queen Poline at Uttoxeter. However, he has been off the track for nearly a year now and it remains to be seen if he is fit enough to do himself justice on his return from such a long absence. Royal Role shaped with a bit of promise on his debut when finishing fourth of 12 in a race won by Black Jack Blues and he is another to consider. However this looks a good opportunity for Lion On The Prowl and he is given the vote.
