Set The Trend never threatened in Listed company at York on Saturday and this looks no easier while Es Que Love makes a quick reappearance after a fifth at the same track last week and finished ahead of Highland Colori in a handicap at Newmarket earlier. The Cheka was third behind a couple of higher rated horses at Thirsk last time and isn't out of this, but ANNUNCIATION is preferred. The Hannon colt won a decent handicap over 6f at Ascot on his latest start and had finished a couple of lengths behind subsequent French 2000 Guineas winner Style Vendome over today's trip in France earlier in the year.
