In depth

Verdict

Peripheral will be happier on this sounder surface having failed to handle the softer conditions at Newmarket, while Stagnite has been running well, without having too much luck. He has a 3lb pull with Summer Lightning on their running at Newmarket and while he should finish closer to his rival, the form should be confirmed. The latter, out of a mare who stayed ten-furlongs, should be suited by this step up in trip and he is taken to show his rivals a clean pair of heels. Tamarella would also have a chance if she could reproduce her running behind No Time over this track back in June.
