The handicapper has been reluctant to grant HOWLONGISAFOOT (NAP) much leeway but, taking into account Harry Cobden's claim, the top weight can actually race off a lower mark than when scoring at Taunton in November. Things haven't gone his way since but this is an opportunity to get back on track. Minella Reception is an interesting entry as he's been lightly campaigned this season. He shaped nicely at Ascot last month and shouldn't be far away. Araldur has got nowhere near so far this term but is coming down the weights and Renard is 14lb lower than his last winning mark, though was still beaten 32 lengths when second last time at Wetherby. Deep Trouble is still unexposed over fences but needs to brush up his jumping.
