Verdict

Hawthorn Cottage has gone right off the boil since winning at Kempton in November. MIDNIGHTREFERENDUM (NAP) was second in a Listed race at Market Rasen in the same month and would have finished in the same position in a handicap at Aintree in December had she not fallen at the last. She’s been dropped 3lb since with a subsequent run at Doncaster too bad to be true. Farne and Legends Ryde were also disappointing last time but Eleanor Bob arrives in peak form, though is upped in grade here.
