Verdict

C'Monthehammers won over 4m at Exeter in December but was pulled up when tried in better company over this C&D last month. First-time blinkers could bring about some improvement but not enough to reverse that latest running with INCENTIVISE, who finished an honourable third and is much improved this season. Richard Lee's eight-year-old is still well handicapped and can recapture the winning thread. Bench Warrent didn't build on a better effort at Fakenham last month when well beaten at Exeter subsequently while Carronhills still has something to prove at this level. Lavenoak Lad has stamina in abundance but is racing from 5lb out of the handicap and has spurned easier opportunities recently.
