In depth

Verdict

A good run from Our Scholar in the opener would advertise the chances of Irish import ALLIHIES, who still looked green when fourth at Worcester. Fellow four-year-old Him Malaya is the obvious danger after finding only one too good on his handicap debut at Ludlow, though Pak Army followed up his victory at Newton Abbot by scoring on the Flat at Bath.
