Stuart Edmunds is still awaiting his first winner as a trainer and Dawn Commander was the first beaten last time at Aintree, this is a lot less competitive. Scorpiancer won at Ludlow in January but was no match for Minella Rocco next time at Kempton and then disappointed when odds-on at Bangor. The trip was too short last time but he has questions to answer now and NO NO MAC could offer more value in this. He wasn't disgraced at Kempton last month in decent company, though has still to prove he handles these quicker conditions. Howaboutnow was soon left behind at Ascot on his latest start but wouldn't be without a chance in what is a fairly open contest, despite the small field.
