The selection, Leo's Lucky Star, Glad Big and Ede's are the three that immediately stand out in this field. Ede's is due to race from an 8lb higher mark in future following his win at Plumpton but that wasn't the strongest race in the calendar and it's easy enough to put a line through him today. Chicago Alley, Sir Rique, Rawdon , Faversham and Brigadore also merit a second look but none have really shown enough and we'll concentrate on the market leaders. Glad Big will have to race from a 15lb higher mark in future and did win very easily at Wetherby but he will hopefully make the market for our selection. Leo's Lucky Star was a smart performer on the level but fell on his first three runs over obstacles. His owners sent him to the Pipe yard following his reappearance at Newbury where he didn't run too badly and he made a pleasing introduction behind a handicap snip at Kempton. He's 5lbs higher but still looks leniently treated on his Flat form, he's entitled to improve for that run and could be a horse to follow. This more testing circuit is a concern but we'll take Leo's Lucky Star to shine.
