    Verdict

GLADIATRIX finished second over C&D in June. She ran out of steam in the closing stages in the testing going but better ground today coupled with an apprentice's 5lb claim should see her hang on for victory this time. Polytrack winner Auntie Mabel is also aided by a 7lb claimer and she should be in the mix once again while Ficelle was only beaten a length in soft ground at Ffos Las recently and can figure. Aubrietia scored under today's apprentice at Nottingham last Friday but has a penalty to contend with here.
