Verdict

Fame And Concrete disappointed here on his second start but ran much better on his only run this season at Newbury and sets a decent standard. Record High made a winning start under Rules at Fontwell but also carries a penalty. Hereford third Egbert is a half-brother to several winners while Major Fortune was finishing off best when runner-up at Taunton. PEACE OF ROME is Flat-bred and cost €74,000 as a three-year-old. There was definite promise in his Kempton debut and he’ll know more today.
