Verdict

WINTER GETAWAY (NAP) won a maiden hurdle at Stratford on only her second outing over obstacles. Philip Hobbs’ mare is taken to defy a penalty with further progress expected. Hotter Than Hell was well beaten last time when penalised for an earlier win at Worcester but Ziggy Rose found only one too good at Ludlow recently and can figure if handling today’s testing going. Subway Surf is a dual bumper winner debuting over hurdles along with Bluberry High, placed in both starts in bumpers. Thoor Castle looks a likely improver while point-to-point runner-up Madam Deluxe debuts under Rules for Nicky Henderson’s in-form yard.
