Supreme Bob ended last season with a win in heavy ground at Newbury but is only 3lb higher on his return. Dormouse may prove better suited to today's going though he looks high enough in the weights. Don Pooleoni made a decent comeback when runner-up at Taunton and may figure while Upton Wood also has solid claims on his recent second at Wincanton though the winner has been beaten since. SHADY LANE finished clear of the third when only finding Keel Haul too good over 2m here a fortnight ago and Alan King's mare gets the vote to open her account in this. Swinging Hawk is fit from the Flat but unplaced in five starts over hurdles.
