A good race in prospect and Justalord has a prime position to see off Sholto and Chico Guapo. John Balding's charge has an absence to overcome but handles the surface and certainly looks to have the best of the draw. Sholto was unable to overhaul Tommy Smith from the one stall at Pontefract a couple of weeks ago and is modestly drawn. Chico Guapo would be a major danger if reproducing his victory over Artie in April. He has become a little disappointing of late and connections are taking no chances by throwing on first time blinkers and Richard Hughes. Yorkie's Boy is a light of former years while Guns Blazing is in form but could have been granted a bigger favour by the draw. Foley Millennium is on a hattrick bid against significantly better opposition than in his last two races. Lady Pekan is watched in the market. A fascinating race in which a gamble is taken about Justalord's match fitness.
