In depth

Verdict

Mary McPhee never figured at Newmarket on her debut and finished only a length ahead of Gold Waltz with Kodestiny well behind. Seamoor Secret has been getting closer without yet threatening to score and As A Dream's poor effort on fast ground at Bath last time fails to boost confidence in her chances. Dancing Moon is preferred to Lady Zodiac of the newcomers, but a speculative vote goes to SHOW SPIRIT, expected to improve with Richard Hughes taking over the reins after a debut third at Beverley.
