An interesting finale with some bright hurdling prospects on view and narrow preference is for Benbecular. Paul Webber's charge has shaped well on all three starts over timber and followed a promising debut fifth behind Rhinestone Cowboy with placed efforts in useful company at Newbury and Doncaster (Supreme Hill fourth and held on identical terms). Proven in the conditions, the son of Glacial Storm should relish the step up to this trip and, with further improvement anticipated, can gain a deserved victory. Master McGrath and Well Then Now Then have both struggled to carry penalties for earlier wins and may have to settle for a place. However, the latter is far from certain to confirm placings with Strong Flow on December's Southwell form at the revised weights while the remainder appear to have plenty to find on what they have achieved to date.
