A fillies maiden opens the card and after a really promising debut FEMME DE FER has our confidence to land it in preference to Turning Top and Wotasparkler. The selection possesses plenty of natural speed as she demonstrated on her first outing when she had the field in all sorts of trouble with about half the race to run and had she not pulled hard early on she would have won instead of getting collared late on. She looks to be the type to improve with experience and with a run under the belt she should be hard to beat. Turning Top should be seen in a better light now stepping down to a sprint trip for the first time after not quite getting a mile last time out and has the highest rating of those who possess marks. Wotasparkler was disappointing in handicap company on her last start but ran well in a maiden on her penultimate effort while Cross Section didn't really improve from her debut last time but still could challenge for honours. The market might be a useful tool to guide you here but Femme De Fer looks a solid selection.
