Verdict

William Of York was very green at Wetherby but got a second wind in the closing stages and will know more today. Bashers Reflection has shown some ability but gives the impression further would suit. Nicky Henderson snapped up Amrons Sage after the Sageburg gelding landed a point at Liscarroll in March but his dam has yet to produce a winner under Rules. Bumper winner GITCHE GUMEE looked a very nice prospect when winning as he liked at Stratford and a penalty may not be enough to halt his progress here. Placed twice in bumpers, American Land may be best of the rest.
