Storm Prince won well at Wincanton on Thursday but has more to do under a 7lb penalty in a better race today and is opposed with Avalanche, who gets the nod over the reappearing Jay Bee Ell. The last mentioned has not been seen since finishing fourth in a novices' hurdle at Stratford in June 2002 but is potentially well treated for his debut in this grade and the stable can ready one after an absence. Audiostreetdotcom is a consistent performer but may again have to settle for a minor role, while Muskatsturm has tended to disappoint although a market move for him would obviously be of interest. John Mackie's pair Hot Produxion and High Rank both warrant a mention but preference has to be for John Best's Avalanche, who returned to winning ways in decisive fashion over fences at Kempton last time and now returns to hurdles on what looks a favourable mark.
