Get On The Yager easily beat Willoughby Court at Market Rasen but the latter is two from two on this track. Geordie Des Champs was heavily punted to complete a five-timer at Newbury two weeks ago but couldn’t get past Theligny. However, he can’t be ruled out and gets 3lb from Ballyhill, who has been beaten three times since winning over this trip at Ludlow and is unproven on going this soft. PEREGRINE RUN has won four in a row with his defeat of Wholestone at Cheltenham in November working out well. That form is the best on offer so he gets the vote as Gayebury and Fountains Windfall, who is also entered at Kempton, look to be flying too high.
