A hot looking novice event with Brankley Boy, Gritti Palace, It Would Appear and Dunbell Boy all having a chance with the vote going to Brankley Boy. Brankley Boy has been plagued with injury over the past few years and has little mileage on the clock. He won on his debut in a bumper then it was two years till his next run over fences. He has his first run now for nearly a year but the yard are in good form at present and he will not want for fitness. Gritti Palace was beaten by Dunbell Boy at Chepstow on his penultimate start when finishing second and has since run with credit at Uttoxeter when third last time out. He is one to note. Dunbell Boy was massively disappointing last time out and if putting that behind him has a chance. It Would Appear has also run with promise this season in defeat and will need to improve but for the winner we return to Brankley Boy.
