    Verdict

Those to have run have only shown a modicum of ability and this may rest between Gawain and Awash with the tentative vote going to the last named. The selection ran well on his debut when fourth behind Wild Savannah despite running green he looks sure to improve and will be hard to beat. Gawain is a well bred sort from a top yard and should be noted in the market as she will not have to be anything special to get involved in the finish here. Mind How You showed improved form to be second behind Stancomb Wills last time and is another with place claims but he will need to improve again to win this. Ganymede is another with place claims on his latest second behind Sporting Gesture. However he has had plenty of chances without taking one and for that reason he is opposed. This is a very trappy affair and the market could be very informative but for the winner we return to Awash.
