In depth

Verdict

This is probably an above-average bumper as the weights are headed by a dual winner and there are several recruits from the point-to-point circuit who could go on to have a decent career under Rules. Of the latter group, Salt Rock is preferred to Jemura, Rockstown Native and Ultra Beat on this occasion. Havock is improving with experience and Sole Solution is 2-2, though has to give his rivals 12lb. TEN LENGTHS TOM ran green at Sandown but the penny was dropping in the closing stages and he’ll be more the finished article here.
