Verdict
Honey's Gift, Koral Bay, Shaka's Pearl and Herecomestanley are a handful against the field in another wide open affair and the vote is given to Koral Bay. The selection was a fair third behind White On Black last time out. That form has since been franked and off the same mark here he is taken to score. Honey's Gift rates the main danger on her latest second behind New Perk but she was doing all her best work at the finish on that occasion so the drop in trip has to be of concern. Shaska's Pearl is another that could go well on her best form but she disappointed for no apparent reason last time and she will need to improve for the step up in trip. Herecomestanley is another with place claims on his best form but he was another that disappointed last time so can not be put forward with any confidence. Of the remainder, Bunkham has dropped to a handy mark and could improve for the fitting of a first time tongue tie so should be noted in the market but in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Koral Bay.
