This won’t take much winning and Western Morning could be worth a market check sporting cheekpieces as he was taking on better company on his handicap debut. The drop in trip is a worry for ROYAL ESCAPE as he’s stoutly bred but he showed enough in the autumn to suggest he could figure in a race like this. Royal Beekeeper has only won a seller and a claimer so far but this isn’t much better. Spader showed promise last spring but has been tailed off in two starts since returning from a lay-off.
