Lough Derg looks likely to be all the rage here but valuewise it may pay to keep the right side of Emerging Star. The selection ran with credit on both his starts to date for trainer George Moore including behind the promising Howle Hill on his debut. Likely to be suited by the underfoot conditions he may represent the each-way value. Lough Derg was most impressive for Martin Pipe on his debut at Newbury and looks a fine prospect. However he is untried on this surface and may well be worth opposing. Flake improved for his debut when running well at Bangor last time out and has to be respected from an in-form stable. German raiders should always be given a special mention when racing at Warwick but Euro American will need to improve on the form he showed on his hurdling debut last time out. Emerging Star then is the value call against a likely odds-on Lough Derg.
