A competitive novice chase here but the TEAMtalk selection is Black Dante. The gelding by Phardante was a fair hurdler, and he has always looked a chaser in the making. He is sure to have been well schooled and the yard are good at having them fit after an absence. Gentle Rivage ran well in a grade two chase last time out when well behind the highly regarded One Night a reproduction of that form would see him go close. Denada is a well related gelding who is worth a cautionary look in the market. Briar's Mist was a fair fourth on his chase debut behind Joly Bey, that form has since been franked and he will strip a lot fitter today. Dragon Hunter is from a shrewd yard and any market confidence would be significant. Box Builder would have a chance on his best hurdle form but he is only small and he lacks scope to do well over fences.
