Verdict

This is not as competitive as the first division. God's Own Getaway must have every chance on his second at Wetherby in March but Kruger Park disappointed after finishing third in a Hereford bumper last December. MOUNT FERNS, a half-brother to the useful stayer City Chief, took a big step forward on his second start in a bumper when runner-up to All Authorized at Fontwell and a switch to hurdling will suit though Kintail looks a big danger as he beat a subsequent winner in a bumper here in May and should have no problem with the longer trip.
