Killard Point looks the best option here with Beneficial Bud and Trigger The Light the main rivals. The selection lost his last race in the stewards room after he lent into the second on the run in and the narrowness of the winning margin was considered enough for the stewards to throw him out. That looked a stronger race than this and he can gain compensation this afternoon. Beneficial Bud made a poor start to his hurdling career but this impressive bumper winner may have needed than run and we could see a much improved performance this afternoon. Alan King's Trigger The Light showed plenty of promise in bumpers last season and will no doubt have been well schooled by his astute trainer. Natoumba and Where's My Baby are two others worthy of a mention, but Killard Point was unfortunate to lose out last time and can make amends today.
