Verdict

Not many of these have hurdling experience and the likes of Mighty Snazy and Royal Swain are returning from lengthy absences. It's impossible to have much faith in the once-useful Record Breaker as he's now a nine-year-old and has had plenty of chances over timber so we'll take him on with WATERFORD STAR. A three-times winner over 2m on the Flat, he was third to subsequent scorer Lord Grantham at Ffos Las last month and should have more to offer. Sterling Gent has hinted at ability and may do better over this extra half-mile.
