Kodicil is versatile and had a pipe-opener on the Flat last month. Fair To Middling came good at Bangor but Ayla's Emperor makes more appeal as she has shown a nice turn of foot to win her last two at Newton Abbot and Fakenham. Ebadani wasn't winning out of turn at Sedgefield but has been done no favours by the handicapper. Officer Hoolihan has been raised 4lb for winning a novice event at Carlisle while Ballinure has had a break since pulled up at Fakenham on New Year's Day. CARRE NOIR again appeared to find 3m a shade too far last time when third at Exeter but had been a decent sort at Newton Abbot earlier and is worth another chance. Domtaline is better over fences and hasn't won over hurdles since 2011.
