      Verdict

      A dreadful contest can go to Harpurs Girl over the likes of Somwhere My Love and Paper Doll. The latter makes her debut over timber after 18 fruitless starts on the all-weather, and in a poor race like this even she could take a hand if jumping adequately. However, Harpurs Girl, who has had three outings in bumper company does at least have track knowledge, having been round here twice, and on all three occasions that she has seen the racecourse the ground has been as equally testing as it is here. Somewhere My Love was tailed off behind Moon Over Miami here last time and can only improve, while Mrs Higham and Bowdlane Barb have no form to speak of. Bets are best kept to the absolute minimum, with Harpurs Girl the tentative selection.
