MANWELL had been a 200/1 chance in his three previous maidens but landed a coup on his handicap debut over the track and trip on New Year's Eve. Not surprisingly the assessor has taken a dim view with a massive 18lb rise but he's probably still ahead of the handicapper and can complete a double. Leviathan hasn't won for over two years but that was in a Class 2 handicap at Ascot and he's taking a drop in grade though he has a long absence to overcome. Makethedifference won a bumper on heavy ground but his three victories over hurdles have been in much quicker conditions than he'll face here. No Win No Fee is back on the same mark as when scrambling home at Stratford but that was on summer ground which he won't have here.
