In depth

Verdict

Richard Johnson rides several with strong claims on today’s card and KRACKATOA KING (NAP) is one of them. The latter was no match for the winner on his reappearance at Wetherby but won easily under the champion jockey in testing ground over 3m at Warwick back in March and makes most appeal in this. Wood Yer will relish today’s distance if putting a below par comeback run at Cheltenham behind him while Zephyros Bleu won in heavy ground at Ffos Las last year but has struggled subsequently after a hike in the weights. Rigadin De Beauchene is another struggling to get his act together despite a slide down the handicap and the remainder make little appeal.
