A terrific renewal of this Listed chase with SHUIL ROYALE, back to form at Newton Abbot last month, bidding to repeat last year's victory off a 9lb higher mark. Harry Fry's charge is unlikely to be far away again as long as the ground doesn't deteriorate. Menorah has won a Grade 1 and three Grade 2 races over fences and is still a class act. David Pipe is mob-handed but Katkeau will be ridden by Tom Scudamore and looks the pick of the yard's four runners having beaten Gas Line Boy, What A Warrior and subsequent Aintree winner Al Co over 3m here in April. Pacha Du Polder will be professionally handled for a change and may be the best of Paul Nicholls' two runners while Katie Walsh could get a tune out of veteran Your Busy and Solstice Son arrives on a hat-trick.
