Poor quality on offer here where the veteran Redemption is likely to start a short priced favourite on the basis of his recent Newton Abbot victory, achieved on ground much different to the conditions that he will encounter today. At the likely odds we will oppose the favourite with Deoraoicht, who could make this a good day for Rebecca Curtis. The selection returned from a lay-off on his penultimate outing, an appearance that resulted in an improved effort last time. Yet to get his head in front in 23 efforts, he could offer some value against the favourite. Redemption scored his first victory since late '06 last time and while he appeals as the most likely winner, the decision to plough into a 13yr old at cramped is a brave one. Colourful Life is hard to consider as he appears a light of former days while Xellence was well supported to land a similar contest last week but weakened very quickly. Little Rort finished second in that particular Fontwell event but has received a hike of 7lb for that. Deoraoicht gets the vote to land the seller.
