In depth

Verdict

BUCKO'S BOY easily won a Fakenham maiden in May and was narrowly beaten in a handicap over this track and trip a month later. He was taking on much stronger company at Bangor last time where he made too many mistakes. Quick Draw is just 2lb higher than when scoring at Chepstow in April and reverts to hurdling after jumping poorly over fences at Kempton. The Knot Is Tied went up 10lb for a 24l victory at Fakenham and was ridden by a 10lb claimer in a better race over 3m at Aintree. Bryony Frost is on board here and the combination is expected to go close. Calvinist completed a double when scoring here in September but has struggled from his raised mark.
