Verdict

Stage Acclaim would have given THE WIFES PET more to think about at Huntingdon last month had he not hung badly right up the home straight. There probably won't be much to choose between the pair today but the latter can come out on top again and reverse earlier Market Rasen running with the four-year-old Taratata Sivola on 6lb better terms. Lawney Hill's mare is the choice ahead of Horseshoe Reef, who certainly wasn't winning out of turn over a slightly shorter trip here earlier in the month. Benbane Head looks to have too much weight but Kikos is better than he showed at Stratford last month and preferred to the enigmatic Another Trump and Worcester winner Just Victor.
