Verdict

Winning pointer WINTER SOLDIER was only beaten a neck by Robinesse over course and distance on his debut under Rules and will be fancied to go one better. Muthabir got off the mark at Southwell in March but may find this a bit tougher under a penalty. Pilgrims Bay was third at Ffos Las in April but took a backward step at Plumpton and is best watched here. A market check is advised on newcomers Bruce Of Crionaich and Kendari King, but neither has an outstanding pedigree.
