A number of promising types face the starter in this. Ashford Wood has already won over hurdles, at Ffos Las in March, Come On Laurie has been beaten less than three lengths in all three starts over timber and should be winning soon. St Johns Point, Net Work Rouge and Roberts Fort have all won between the flags while Grove Silver landed a Newcastle bumper on his debut under Rules. CARNINGLI was sent off a hot favourite for a Listed bumper at Ascot in December. He only managed fourth but clearly has plenty of ability and can make a winning start over obstacles.
